Immanuel Lutheran School is currently a "Friend of Core Knowledge" school. Core Knowledge is a sequence of solid, specific, shared core curriculum developed in order to help children establish strong foundations of knowledge. The sequence provides a clear outline of content to be learned grade by grade. 

The Christian faith is taught as a way of life permeating the total curriculum. Children learn about the Bible, worship and church history, and are encouraged to foster their personal relationship with God.
